Welcome to ‘Sevilla with Kids’!
We’re just starting out, and I wanted to create something special for my kids—a place where they can meet other children from different backgrounds. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a safe, welcoming community where families can come together? Here are some simple rules to help us achieve that:
- Be Respectful to Others
- Help Each Other
- Work Together
- Be Honest
- Remember: We Are Equal
A Little About Me
I was born in the Netherlands and spent part of my childhood in Suriname (South America). After about 10 years, my family moved back to the Netherlands, where I lived until I came to Spain. When I was a student, I met Luuk, and a few years later, we got married. After having two boys, we decided to move to Spain.
We believe in living life to the fullest as a family here in Spain. Both my husband and I work from home, and we love connecting with others. We live ‘en el campo’ (in the countryside). Everyone, no matter their background or belief, is welcome to join us. Let’s learn from each other and build a diverse community with our kids.

Why ‘Sevilla with Kids’?
In Spain, we say ‘Sevilla’, and adding ‘with kids’ gives it an international vibe. It’s that simple!
Thank you for joining us in this journey. We look forward to meeting you and your family!
